Pour It Pitcher and Carafe

Add a splash of color to the table with the Pour It pitcher’s happy yellow hue and the Orange Carafe’s warm tones. The playful designs are cheerful and eye-catching, and the shape reminiscent of design from the 1950s.

The jug and carafe are made from glazed stoneware and can go in the microwave and dishwasher – so perfect for everyday life. The pour-it pitcher and carafe are specially glazed to resist colour-fading and don’t absorb contents taste or smell.

The jug’s comfortable, ergonomic handle make it easy to hold and pour from and the slimline side profile means it stores tidily in the fridge.  The carafe has a raised ridge in two thirds up which offers excellent grip as well as a subtle yet nice visual interruption of the otherwise smooth, curvaceous body.

A little note on the designer –

The French designer Pierre Foulonneau makes sketches like other people take notes. They are an important base of his idea bank when he is starting up new design projects. He often revisits the sketch books which take up a major part of his design studio in the French city of Nantes on the Atlantic coast.  Having graduated from L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique in 2003, Pierre went to Finland to perfect his design aesthetic. He also worked for some years in Milan in a design studio together with George J. Sowden.
