A little information about materials and dimensions

Bamboo is highly renewable. Raw bamboo is converted, using the most fascinating process, into the solid blocks that are then turned into clock cases. Can you believe some species of bamboo grow up to an inch per hour!

The Fiji clock has metal hands and a glass lens.  It is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box.

Accurate and reliable quartz silent sweep movement with no ticking noise. If your hearing is particularly sensitive in a completely silent room you may hear a very quiet whirring.
